SITTING KILLS & MOVING HEALS

Modern lifestyles have induced us to be more passive and pleasure loving.  There is a
fundamental shift taking place unconsciously :

We  prefer comfort to exertion.
We prefer to take it easy than to work hard or work smart
We prefer to be couch potatos than to be active workers
We prefer to drive  than to walk even short distances
We prefer the lift  than to climb the stairs
We prefer to eat out than to cook family meals at the kitchen
We prefer to use the new gadgets to make our life easy than to
utilise our imagination and skills.
We prefer the calculator than to use our brain for   simple calculations
We prefer passive videogames than to actively play footbll or baseball
We prefer e-shopping now a days than to actually walk across to the  mall.

The way our midset and attitude has changed is unimaginable.  But for all these easy
going midset we are paying a price- a very heavy price.
This is a serious subject and we need a serious author to explore  the
implications of such a shift in our mindset and living style.

Wish to  know these implications  from a professional who has devoted a major part of her life researching  the impact of such shifts in our mindset and lifestyles.
